Life's not a bed of roses, it's not all sunshine and rainbows...

Who says life isn't rosy? That life isn't a potica? And that we don't have it easy! ✌️🌷🌸

Before the holidays and Easter, at Slocks, I fulfilled a wish for myself and my friends to make the potica in pink colors.
We can step into the first days of spring lightly and "potica-fied" in pink!

PINK POTICA
Potica is a Slovenian pastry that traditionally appears on tables during holidays. It was first mentioned by Primož Trubar as povitica in 1575, and the first recipe for it was recorded in 1689 by Janez Vajkard Valvasor in "The Glory of the Duchy of Carniola," where potica is mentioned as rolled-out thin dough with a walnut and honey filling. Today, we know more than 120 types of potica. Since 2018, "Slovenska potica" has been protected as a traditional specialty, with 5 types of potica specifically protected for their filling and baking in a potičnik (potica baking mold).
